Terms of Service

One-time service. Clear responsibilities.

These Terms of Service govern purchases and use of YOUR AUDIO's custom hardware-processing service. By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and Service & File Policy.

01

Orders and
acceptance

An order is submitted when checkout is completed through the website. YOUR AUDIO may review an order before beginning work to confirm that the file, selected service, turnaround option, and hardware-chain choices can reasonably be processed.

We may decline, pause, or cancel an order before processing where payment is not completed, required information or files are missing, the submitted material cannot reasonably be processed, the order appears fraudulent or abusive, or fulfilling it would be unlawful or technically impracticable. Where YOUR AUDIO cancels an unperformed paid service, any applicable refund will be handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

02

Pricing and
payment

Prices, applicable taxes, available payment methods, and the order total are shown at checkout. Payment is required before the purchased service is performed unless YOUR AUDIO expressly agrees otherwise.

Each paid service line represents one processing job for one uploaded audio file at quantity 1. Multiple legitimate service lines may be purchased in the same order, with each line treated as a separate job.

03

Customer files,
rights and permission

You represent that you own, control, or have sufficient authorization to upload the audio you submit and to have YOUR AUDIO process it. You remain responsible for the legality, ownership, permissions, and content of customer-supplied material.

You do not transfer ownership of your audio to YOUR AUDIO. You grant us only the limited permission reasonably required to access, copy, route, process, record, quality-check, export, store temporarily, deliver, and support the files necessary to complete the purchased service.

Do not submit material that infringes another person's rights, is unlawful to process, contains malicious code, or is submitted without the authority required to use it.

04

Processing,
turnaround and results

YOUR AUDIO provides custom audio processing through real hardware using the configuration selected or otherwise accepted for the order. Sonic results may vary according to the source material, selected equipment, gain structure, hardware behaviour, and other technical or creative factors.

Turnaround options describe processing priority rather than a guaranteed delivery deadline. Standard is targeted for 7 days or sooner, Priority for 3 days or sooner, and Rush means immediate-start priority. Technical issues, customer-file problems, payment review, outages, or other circumstances outside reasonable control may affect completion time.

Subjective preferences about tone, colour, saturation, dynamics, stereo image, or other sonic character are not by themselves evidence that the service was performed incorrectly.

05

Cancellation,
delivery and files

Cancellations, refunds, service errors, and replacement remedies are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Finished audio is delivered digitally using the delivery method made available for the order. File-format requirements, source-file responsibilities, service-line rules, processing details, and file-retention practices are described in the Service & File Policy.

Source and finished files may be retained for approximately 30 days after completion or delivery for download, replacement, or issue-resolution purposes, subject to the Privacy Policy and any longer period reasonably required for an active support or legal matter.

06

Website, liability
and governing law

We aim to keep the website and service accurate and available, but temporary interruptions, technical errors, third-party platform failures, maintenance, or events outside reasonable control may occur.

To the extent permitted by law, YOUR AUDIO is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or service. Where liability may lawfully be limited, YOUR AUDIO's aggregate liability arising from an affected paid service line will not exceed the amount paid for that service line.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that may apply in another jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. An order is generally governed by the version of the terms in effect when that order is placed, except where a change is required by law or expressly agreed with the customer.
