Privacy Policy

Your files. Your information. Handled with care.

YOUR AUDIO respects the privacy of customers and the confidentiality of submitted audio. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, how customer files are handled, and the choices available to you.

01

Information
we collect

Depending on how you use the site or service, we may collect information such as:

  • name, email address, billing details, and order information;
  • customer messages, support requests, and optional order notes;
  • uploaded audio files and the equipment, turnaround, and processing selections attached to an order;
  • technical information such as browser, device, IP address, and site activity; and
  • information provided by Shopify, payment providers, or service apps used to complete an order.

Payment-card information is processed by Shopify and/or the applicable payment provider. YOUR AUDIO does not need to receive or store a customer's full card number to provide the service.

02

How we use
information

We use information where reasonably necessary to:

  • accept, process, and complete customer orders;
  • match each uploaded audio file to the correct paid service line;
  • provide the selected hardware-processing service and finished-file delivery;
  • communicate about orders, support, cancellations, replacements, or service issues;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and service;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, or unauthorized activity; and
  • meet legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory obligations.

We do not use customer audio files as public promotional material without permission.

03

Customer audio
files

Uploaded source files and finished processed files are used to provide the service requested by the customer, including file access, hardware routing, processing, quality control, export, delivery, support, and reasonable replacement or issue-resolution needs.

Access is limited to the systems and people reasonably required to complete or support the order. Customers should not upload material they are not authorized to submit or process.

04

Shopify, apps
and service providers

YOUR AUDIO uses Shopify and may use third-party services for functions such as hosting, payments, file upload, email, analytics, fraud prevention, and finished-file delivery. Those providers may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable privacy terms.

Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or security, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction involving the service.

Some providers may process data in countries outside the customer's province or country, subject to the protections and legal requirements applicable to those providers.

05

Cookies, analytics
and security

The website and Shopify may use cookies, similar technologies, and analytics tools for essential site operation, preferences, security, checkout, performance measurement, and related functions.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, but no internet transmission, storage system, or third-party platform can be guaranteed completely secure.

06

Retention

Order, payment, communication, and transaction records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for customer service, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and business records.

Source and finished audio files may be retained for approximately 30 days after completion or delivery to support download, replacement, or issue resolution, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for an active support matter, legal obligation, security issue, or customer-authorized purpose. Files may then be deleted or made inaccessible in the ordinary course of our systems and service providers.

07

Your rights
and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to ask questions about how it is handled.

Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, contractual, or legitimate business purposes. You may also manage browser cookie settings and other available privacy controls.
